Trust in your dream

Hey! Wow, what a weekend camp in Heinäsaari! There were like over 140 people, so it was a bit crowded but we survived (even though it was wet, cold and the mud got EVERYWHERE like on your bed sheets). A short summary of the weekend:

On Friday I got there a bit late since I had to work until six, so me and five guys rode on a small motorboat with a lot off stuff in a slight rain... I was cold to my bones and a bit worried we might sink :D We arrived safely though and I managed to stay warm for the rest of the evening. The highlight was a walk around the island with the only light coming from candles while reading texts from the Bible. I'm proud of not tripping over on roots!

On Saturday the sun was actually shining which brightened my mood :) The day consisted of getting to know new people, others running around the woods playing steel the log (rough translation :D), lots of good food and in the evening, the ones crazy enough played cops and robbers in the pitch dark with reflectors and flashlights while the rest of us ate a late supper by the campfire. My meat pie was frozen in the middle since I didn't bother to heat it in the fire, and when I fried a pancake on a pan it had the consistency of scrambled eggs when I was done :D

On Sunday we packed our bags, cleaned up the place since over 100 people and mud make a lot of mess, and headed back home! Oh, have you guys tried Rovio's new game, Bad Piggies? Great entertainment when you're waiting for a bus :)

Hi! Perfect weather and time to take pictures: it's been foggy and damp all day, the light is just running out, it starts to rain... And your camera runs out of batteries! Maybe next time my photos won't be so dark and gothic :D It will be quiet on my part here this weekend, I'm all packed and ready to go to Heinäsaari :)

Kiss me hard before you go

Hi! Yesterday morning when I looked out the window the weather was so nice, the sun was shining and the skies were blue, so I thought I'd take some pictures on my way to work. It went well from our house to the bus stop (all the photos in this post are from that trip), but when the bus drove closer to town the rain started pouring down... I thought "OK, this isn't so bad, I have my umbrella with me!" I couldn't take any pictures but would have been glad to get to work dry. No chance of that happening of course :D

When I was walking on the bridge that goes over the freeway it started to rain like crazy and I clutched my canvas bag with the camera in it to my chest so it wouldn't get wet. Still I thought I could get to work with just wet shoes but oh no. Than the hail started coming down and the wind blew from behind that soon my behind was soaked through two layers of skirt and the tights... By the time I got to shelter my Converse sneakers were soaked and squishy with water and I was getting pretty cold, fast. The bright side: my camera was nice and dry :D Ellu saved me by bringing a dry pair of sweatpants I'd forgotten at the cottage a while back, and I spent most of the work day bare foot: a very casual Friday!

Outfit from today's shopping trip with Mum to the new mall in Kouvola, it was nice but didn't have any special stores you can't find anywhere else. Sweater and dress from H&M.

Superlove

Hi! The day didn't start of quite how I'd hoped since I got drenched from my thighs down walking in the rain to work... You'd think an umbrella would help but then comes the wind :D Luckily I was early so I could dry off before we opened. The rest of the day was great, made a kick-ass window with snake skin print, and the wonderful Niina from work gave me a bag she didn't need! You can see a picture below :) Tomorrow's day off consists of a trip to the dentist and hopefully some DIY!

This I would like to try and make, you download the patterns, print them, put them together and you have a Hermès bag! The material would need to be pretty strong for the bag to last though :D
