Noniin, happy halloween! Kestää vähän aikaa aina tottua siihen, että oven takana koputtelee luurangot ja kummitukset, mut jotenki hauskaa kokee tääki puoli halloweenista, koska yleensä Suomessa tajuan että on halloween silloin kun se on, tai kun se on jo mennyt.

Tein tänään kurpitsasosekeittoa ja paahdoin uunissa ite niitä siemeniä joihin heitin mukaa chiliä. Ens kerralla vois tosiaa laittaa sitä vähän vähemmän...mutta ihan hyvin kelpas nekin.

Huomenna tulee kampaaja käymään täällä tekemässä mulle jonkun allergiatestin, koska mulla on lauantaina kampaaja! Täytyy vielä miettiä, että mitähän sitä tekis mun reuhkalle sitte. Muutamia ideoita sentää on! 

Lauantaina Iida tuleekin tänne meille, ja mennään yhdessä sunnuntaina hostperheen kyydissä Lontooseen kiertelemään. Ja mähän tosiaan maanantaina meen uudestaan sinne, koska ihana Jenni tulee silloin tänne suunnille, niin pitäähän sitä nähdä!

Here we go

Hey! So I did scare a few people today (our store manager thought I was cute until I turned around and she saw my face :D), I think that means my costume was a success don't you think? I bet the two coming to talk to our house about home safety didn't see it coming when I opened the door in my look! Hats off for them since their first question was: "Are you the lady of the house?"

I started the look with a little DIY and cut holes in a basic H&M dress, then I looked through my clothes and added stuff around the dress. I ended up with a kind of dead school girl look :D

I will come into your dreaaaams...

The DIY part was very simple: start with a shirt/dress, tailor chalk and scissors...

...draw the cut outs and cut them out :D I just drew from memory but I recommend looking at pictures of how a rib cage looks like, mine is not quite the same... but oh well, it's the thought that counts.

Some shopping: Oona said the tangle teezer was good so I bought one to try out, a basic calendar for 2013 and earrings that were on sale and only half price at Glitter.

My new favourite tea! It's actually good for you since it's white tea :)

There's just one night to live and there's no time to wait

Hi! The silent glee from strangers' reactions continued today as did my Halloween inspired looks. I'm planning on going all in tomorrow as I want to take part in Lookbook's Halloween contest... So be sure to check out my tomorrow's look ;) I can tell you it has a little DIY project involved! Our rehearsals went well today even if some people have trouble concentrating on important stuff when they get hold of a guitar :D Waiting for Friday :)

So I got maybe a tad too excited on planning my make up for tomorrow... I'm sure the customers will steer clear if the girl behind the counter looks like this :D

Our hearts will never be the same

Hey! My moments of joy today came from watching how people reacted to my look :D I had this gorgeous black mask with feathers on at work and probably scared a few little girls from coming to our store for a while... Unfortunately or maybe it was a good thing for the customers, I had to take the mask of since the elastic band was starting to give me a headache (curse my big head). We'll see what I come up with for tomorrow ;) I have a music rehearsal after work but hey, all the more reason to look like you've stepped out of a Tim Burton movie! Here's some Halloween inspiration two days early but still :)

Here's the prototype for the jumpsuit I did finish yesterday! My Dad asked if I was making curtains but I'm hoping that's just because those used to be bed sheets...

Hi! I can't believe that the Halloween jewellery was put up at work today, this year is just flying by... Before you know it, it'll be 2013 :D We'll see if we come up with something special for Halloween, it's not really celebrated that much in Finland. It's always fun to dress up no matter how old you get (or is it just me)! Are you planning on doing something for Halloween?

Today; T-shirt H&M, skirt Rut m.fl., jewellery BB, and shoes Dinsko. Those ankle boots are definitely my favourite for this autumn, they're so comfy and go with everything :)

A map is more unreal than where you've been, or how you feel

Hi! I had a very handicrafty weekend with a giant ball pillow and my little brothers Halloween costume :) He's gonna be a zombie! What can you do, I'm just one of those girls who enjoys the dress-up and weirdness of October 31st!

Today was my first day at the jewellery shop, and boy, I've never seen so much jewellery in my life! Can't wait to use my employee discount ;)
